"It is now 2022 and the Martians have returned to attempt to conquer the Earth once again.
Martian technology has advanced massively over the intervening 124 years. The iconic tripod
is still in evidence but it is now evolved to a much higher level. Also there are other new war
machines as well as a Martian ground force. It’s hell on Earth."
